The Heroscape Codex began at heroscapehq.com, as the brainchild of Archaos, who thought it would be cool to have a fan-created magazine. ScreamingTruth took up mantle of taking the raw idea to finished magazine. ScreamingTruth enlisted the help of many HeroscapeHQ members to help with that first issue, but most importantly he enlisted InfinityMax as Editor in Chief to organize the effort. From the first issue, the magazine caught on with the fans at heroscapehq.com, and quickly grew into a serious magazine, providing fan-created support for the Hasbro board game Heroscape.
